REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY FOR KODION
Effective Date: June 9, 2026 Last Updated: July 13, 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for paid subscriptions to Kodion (the "Service"), operated by International Elevators Group Company I.L.C. SARL ("Kodion," "we," "us," "our"). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. How Payments Are Processed
Payments for web subscriptions at https://kodion.dev are processed by Paddle, our payment provider acting as Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase and may handle billing, taxes, invoicing, and refunds on our behalf. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to their refund policies.
We also accept cryptocurrency (USDT) payments, processed through NOWPayments, a third-party crypto payment gateway. NOWPayments acts as a technical payment processor only and is not a merchant of record; for cryptocurrency transactions, Kodion is the seller of record. Cryptocurrency payments are subject to the additional terms in Section 3 below.
2. Subscriptions and Billing
Card subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected at checkout) and renew automatically until cancelled.
Cryptocurrency (USDT) payments are one-time purchases for a fixed access period (30 days) and do not renew automatically. Access ends automatically at the close of the paid period unless you make another payment to extend it.
3. Refunds
Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in this Policy, all payments are non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods and for periods during which you did not use the Service.
We may, at our discretion or that of our Merchant of Record, grant refunds in certain cases — for example, accidental duplicate charges, a confirmed technical fault that prevented use of the Service, or where required by consumer-protection law.
Virtual items. In-Service virtual items and rewards (such as XP, levels, streaks, keys, energy, badges, and league placements) have no monetary value and are not refundable, redeemable for cash, or compensable if adjusted, reset, or lost, as described in our Terms of Service.
Cryptocurrency (USDT) payments. Because blockchain transactions are irreversible, cryptocurrency payments are generally non-refundable. Where a refund is approved under this Policy, it will be issued in USDT to a wallet address you provide, and may be reduced by network and processing fees. You are solely responsible for supplying a correct wallet address on a compatible network; we are not liable for funds lost due to an incorrect address or wrong network you provide. Refunds reflect the USDT amount received and we do not compensate for any change in the value of the cryptocurrency between payment and refund.
4. Statutory Withdrawal Right (EEA / UK Consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days. However, where you expressly request immediate access to paid digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, this right will not apply once the Service has begun. Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have as a consumer.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- Web: from your account settings, or through the Merchant of Record's customer portal.
- Apple / Google: through your Apple or Google account subscription settings.
When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, and it will not renew thereafter. Cancellation does not, by itself, trigger a refund for the current period.
6. Promotional Codes and Discounts
Discounts applied through promotional or beta codes are temporary and apply only for the stated period. The discounted amount is not refundable as cash, and codes have no cash value.
7. How to Request a Refund or Help
To request a refund or ask a billing question, contact us at billing@kodion.dev (or support@kodion.dev). Please include the email address used for the purchase and the transaction or receipt ID. You may also be able to request a refund directly through the Merchant of Record using the receipt you received by email.
8. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we will work to resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending resolution.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date and, where required by law, provide notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
