AI Projects Portfolio
Build a portfolio of AI applications across guided, assisted, and solo tracks. Chatbots, RAG systems, content pipelines, research assistants, and your own AI SaaS idea.
Why learn AI Projects Portfolio?
Knowing individual AI techniques is not the same as being able to point to something you built. AI Projects Portfolio is a portfolio of real AI applications across three levels of independence: guided projects with complete implementation guidance, assisted projects with requirements and milestone checkpoints, and solo projects you design and build on your own.
It is 3 modules and 11 projects total. Guided projects include an AI chatbot with streaming, a PDF Q&A assistant, a resume analyzer, a study assistant, and an AI flashcard generator. Assisted projects step the guidance back for a content generator, a research assistant, and a customer support bot. Solo projects hand you only the brief: a RAG knowledge base, an AI productivity tool, and a custom AI SaaS idea you choose yourself.
Each project is meant to become something you can actually show: a working chatbot, a RAG system, a content pipeline, a research assistant, and whatever you decide to build in the solo track.
Who this course is for
- Developers who finished Prompt Engineering, LLM Fundamentals, or OpenAI API Development and want to build with those skills
- Anyone who needs concrete AI projects for a portfolio or job applications
- Builders who learn best by shipping something real rather than more isolated exercises
- Developers ready to design their own AI project brief in the solo module
What you'll build and practice
- A multi-turn AI chatbot with streaming and session management
- A PDF Q&A assistant and a resume analyzer, built with real implementation guidance
- An AI content generator and research assistant, built from requirements rather than a walkthrough
- A RAG knowledge base you design and build independently
- A custom AI SaaS idea of your own choosing, built solo in the final module
What you'll learn
AI Projects Portfolio is organized into 3 focused modules. By the end you'll be comfortable with:
- Guided Projects
- Assisted Projects
- Solo Build Projects

Frequently asked questions
- What courses should I finish before starting AI Projects Portfolio?
- OpenAI API Development at minimum, since the projects call real AI APIs. Prompt Engineering and LLM Fundamentals are strongly recommended too, since the assisted and solo projects assume you already understand prompting and RAG conceptually.
- What is the difference between the guided, assisted, and solo modules?
- Guided projects walk you through complete implementation step by step. Assisted projects give you requirements and milestone checkpoints but not a full walkthrough. Solo projects give you a brief and expect you to design and build the whole thing yourself.
- Do I get to pick my own project in the solo module, or is it assigned?
- One of the three is entirely your choice: Solo Project, Custom AI SaaS Idea. The other two solo projects, a RAG knowledge base and an AI productivity tool, have a defined brief but no implementation walkthrough.
- Are these projects meant to go in a portfolio, or are they just practice?
- They are built to be shown. Each one is a complete, working AI application, a chatbot, a RAG system, a content pipeline, and so on, meant to be something you can demo and talk through in an interview, not a throwaway exercise.
- Does this track teach new AI concepts, or apply ones from earlier courses?
- It applies. This track introduces no new AI theory of its own; it takes the prompting, API, and RAG concepts from OpenAI API Development, Prompt Engineering, and LLM Fundamentals and uses them to build 11 real applications.
